I started in photography while working for an import company. I kept photo records of all the imported items and used them to produce leaflets, flyers and email marketing.

Once I moved on from there I started my own part time business making websites, stationery, marketing materials and posters in my free time.

Photography remained a passionate hobby in my free time and eventually I decided to buy some professional equipment.

I’ve also bought various programs for my PC so I can bring your ideas to life when it comes to albums, posters etc.

I also always take my iPad with me for photo shoots, so there’s a beautifully crisp view of all the photos without the usual agonising wait to see how they came out. This also gives the opportunity to retake any photos you don’t like.

When my son was born in 2012 I decided it was time to become my own boss and choose working hours that allow me to have a family life.

Sailing

I am a keen sailor and take part in events all over the country. Many of my photos are of sailing boats taken on powerful zoom lenses. Taking these photos over the years has taught me a lot about photography of fast-moving objects in poor weather.

Wildlife

I didn’t grow up in a city, I grew up in beautiful mountains with masses of wildlife all around me. I do miss it and enjoy taking photos of the little wildlife around me in London.
